central spot easy sightseeing bedside lamps complimentary toiletries
this central spot made sightseeing easy. proximity to the theatre district meant attending shows was simple. the room had two bedside lamps. the bathroom included complimentary toiletries.
the elevator was occasionally slow during peak hours , requiring a little patience.

My Standard Double Room featured a television with multiple channels , and the bed was comfortable. Blackout curtains ensured restful sleep. A safe was also available for valuables. A desk offered a dedicated workspace.

The staff offered luggage storage before check-in and after checkout , which helped a lot. Check-in was relatively fast. The front desk provided maps and directions.

good location toilet flush
The location was great and close to everything. the room had a good size. the toilet flush was not working very well.
the long mirror in the bedroom was really smeared. housekeeping weren't good like it should be.

great location, minor hiccup
central location friendly staff luggage storage
The location was fantastic. It was right next to trafalgar square and the national gallery. i appreciated that i could leave my luggage after checkout at 11:00, this allowed me more time to tour. the staff were very friendly and professional during check-in and check-out. I had a standard double room, decent sized.
on one occasion, the hot water was not hot enough for drinks. i also noticed that the soundproofing was not good, as i could hear noise from the corridors at times.

the check-in desk was staffed by patient individuals and the bar service provided by kim from hong kong was friendly. abdula also helped a lot when calling the lift when my hands were full.

The restaurant was quiet , and the service was attentive. Kim, my server, ensured i was happy. i enjoyed a breakfast that included a classical uk selection, and i saw additional choices were available.

the hotel has luggage storage available after checkout, this is a helpful feature for extending your tour time. i noticed a lift, and abdula was very kind helping me with it when my hands were full.

i was located near trafalgar square and the national gallery, and the victoria station provided easy airport access. the proximity to theaters, restaurants, and shops also improved my experience. it was certainly ideal!

rusty shower screen terrible windows shape
The location of the hotel was acceptable for getting around the area.
The room I booked, a Standard Double Room, looked quite tired and not like the photos I saw online. The external windows were in terrible shape and did not shut properly. I saw an amateur attempt to reseal the shower screen. it was rusty. For what I paid, I expected more attention to these details.

Acceptable Location, Some Disappointments
faulty toilet flush smeared long mirror
The toilet flush wasn't working well in my room. The light above the tea and coffee station also didn't work. I noticed the long mirror in the bedroom was really smeared. It seemed housekeeping wasn't performing as well as expected.

faulty air-con uncomfortable bed
The air conditioning was not working well in my room, so it felt stuffy. The bed was really firm, and the pillows provided little support. These issues unfortunately caused me to have a restless night. The hotel need improve the bed's confort.
